sunday morning

While the tomato sauce simmered, Jorge read the Sunday papers, Sara downloaded new music, Daniel studied physics, and Coco took her daily 4 hour morning nap.... :)

We had rice with tomato sauce and fried eggs for lunch. Not the first thing you´d think of when thinking Spanish cuisine, but very typical... and easy ;)

Sara leaves to go back to school today. ..
Sara: "Mommy are you going to cry?"
Jorge: "She was already crying in the bathroom this morning." :):):)
Sara: "Really?"
Me: "Yes, I was crying because I realized my work is still not done.... I need at least two more years..."
Sara: ....
Jorge Daniel, me: Hahahahahah!!!

Have a great week! :)
P.S. The giveaway is on till Friday. :)

Don´t cry mum...all your work is done, and maybe you don´t see it, but it is done.

All the family together for Christmas? Including your sweet Coco:)
Looks like you have intelligent, smart children, all focused!
And that arroz a la cubana... Everyone made us thought cubans invented it while we were making up weird dishes like ensaladilla rusa and tortilla a la francesa, not really that foreign hahaha
Hope you had wonderful presents from los reyes magos!
Big kisses

by tomato sauce you mean tomato frito right? i still haven't worked out how to cook without the stuff. i didn't realise how integral it was to ALL my meals until i didn't have it!

Haha, rice with tomato sauce and fried eggs is actually one of the first foods I think about when I think about Spain. Might have eaten it a few times during those nine months in Seville.. ;)
