I have a tattoo, a turtle for my lost sister, it was her favorite animal and a symbol i'd pick up for her around the world. I did think about it for 3 years before I did it, to be sure I was sure, and my mind never changed, so I went for it. It didn't hurt as much as I thought. I wasn't sure where to put it either, but I found a good place, they drew out my dream and advised where it would look good, my only criteria - somewhere I could hide it if I wanted, or show it when I wanted - my lower back.RGWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17859160779650601294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4995860150622335007.post-38908521754167219622009-11-17T23:10:05.309+01:002009-11-17T23:10:05.309+01:00nope! the thought of anything totally permanent, o...nope! the thought of anything totally permanent, other than my family and friends, frightens me terribly. i change my mind daily. if i got one, i'd hate it the next day simply because i knew i couldn't change it...aimeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17007656886393098784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4995860150622335007.post-19257917827643304362009-11-17T12:03:03.290+01:002009-11-17T12:03:03.290+01:00yes. on my second toe of my left foot. a tiny litt...yes. on my second toe of my left foot. a tiny little flower. my sister has a matching one on the opposite foot. we went together. it was a tattoo we figured we could commit to, even when we're 80. :-)julochkahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10884096685015570257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4995860150622335007.post-13202212518955117772009-11-16T20:43:58.303+01:002009-11-16T20:43:58.303+01:00Jane!!! My mother has the exact same one on the same foot (but she got it 7 years ago). A gecko is a symbol of protection, left foot because that way it's closer to the heart and why I got it in the first place is because for me it's part of my mother. I'm still so happy with it...
