keeping the faith

A bunch of construction workers started whistling when I passed by the other day... OK, there was a cute, blonde, twenty something passing by at the same time... Still, I´m going to cling to the belief that at least one of those sweaty, hairy, big bellied whistles was for me...

A life affirming moment. I know what you mean though. I was once in a supermarket in Riyadh, bending down to take something from a lower shelf when a Saudi lady, totally veiled in black, pinched my bum.

Ah - they probably thought you were sisters. You know how men have that thing about twins...

Ha! Yes, it feels special indeed to get noticed nowadays. Not something I cared about in my twenties. But, I have more happiness now, even if I am not turning heads! Your posts are such fun!

i don´t know if i should tell this, but i do it anyhow. when my mother was about my age now, she had long hair, dark, wavy hair. she heard whistling behind her back and turned around. the young man behind her got a terrible fright. -my mother cut her hair.
