corner view "spring"

I have to admit. When I suggested this topic I was feeling pretty confident. We had already had 2 days of blue skies and the terrazas were full.... Then I typed the theme "spring" and well, everything went down hill. Coats and scarves were again the dress code, and hot chocolate the drink of choice... (I apologized to my fellow Vitorianos...sorry Ibb!) Anyway, I did manage to capture a few signs of spring... Knowing the climate here, I should have waited till June... ;)

Next week´s theme comes from JGY and is "vending machines."

Happy spring everyone!

I know the feeling, Jane. We had just two or three days of it ourselves. Got my post up too, but I'm afraid my photos aren't nowhere near as good as yours.

Yeah, baby! I was the first to comment! So childish, I know, but that rarely happens to me.

Your photos are beautiful as usual! Thank you.

Fantastic combination of photos! Love the "purple" shot! Not so sure I could pull off that look. :)

It was beautiful here too and the clouds rolled in today and it's supposed to rain tomorrow. Sigh.
At least it's not flooding here. Always something to keep things in perspective when you turn on the news!

If you ask me, crazy weather is as much a part of spring as flowers! Great pictures!

there is so much buzzing energy in your spring photos - love it!

p.s.: it's up and down - weatherwise - in berlin too!

p.p.s.: love the new theme for next week.

Hahaha...don´t worry. There is a phrase said here "Hasta el 30 de mayo no te quites el sayo" more or less til 30 of may don´t leave warm clothes away.
So this is the reason why I am with flu, hahahaha. Too many up and downs in temperature.

Love the photos.

It's the light that makes your pics so springy I guess. Although it's not warm yet, spring is definitely in the air (together with the dark clouds these days...).

For me, spring is also about the world getting green & light again. Love it!

It's rainy and stormy here, too, thick woolen sweaters, ready to bring to the wintercloset for months, were taken out and put on ...

i am really feeling for you folks in the northern hemisphere! this was really a loooooooong winter! but we no longer able to hang on summer round here- so maybe spring will come to you :)
love the photos- despite the scarfs, the colour of the light has changed and it does look like spring is ready to take the reigns!

Sounds alot like here. One minute is is hot and the next day it is cold.

The shorts with tights look like something teenagers in Florida would wear. It does get below freezing here in the winter, but some of the kids at school don't seem to own any long pants. That jump rope picture is great!

Well, at least you got 2 days of spring-like weather... Ibb says you should keep your "sayo" for another whole month, and the good news is that you don't need to do any spring cleaning until then:)

The same thing happened here! It's been pouring non-stop for over 3 days! We are wearing winter coats and hats and the wind is terrible! It's so dark it even looks like it's been dusk for the past 3 days! Glad to see you had some sunlight :)

spring looks pretty good to me even with a few extra layers. i love the first image. the blossoms seem so light and fluffy against the pretty blue sky.

Don't worry = it's not just you! Much of Scotland has been blanketed in snow and buffeted by 60 mile per hour winds over the last 24 hours!!

That always seems to be the way. You have the tease of a few wonderful spring-like days, then it suddenly becomes blustery for a short while. Spring is really here, though...Easter is Sunday!!

hola, pajarito sin cola,
hero too. spring sprang and then immediately fled for the hills (or wherever it is seasons hide), the bastard.

I didn't play this week. couldn't be bothered with bright yellow flowers, blossoming buds, bunnies and chickadees...

ninja has to stay hard sometimes, you see. no fluffiness for ninja. :P

(love the "saltar a la comba" pic, by the way; didn't know kids still did that. yay.)
