I knew a girl who was blue. So she painted her world pink. xoxo

Have a nice weekend,
Jeannette
poor little calf, but great post!
good girl and that's it - i'm catching the next flight to spain! i would have been right there with you, do do and all, laughing my head off, but only after i got out of serious animal-rescue mode- i had to pull robbie out of mud in ireland when he was little - it was really scary - he just kept sinking - maybe it was quicksand! gosh, what's next on the agenda for you this weekend? my lastest business idea: kim and jane's international animal rescue squad - maybe ian wants to join, too! anyone else?
ha, ha.... That was very brave of you!
(By the way, the stone beach is Meñacoz, just a little one...)
you are my shero! This is one of those times being at the right place at the right time. I'm sure the little calf was very thankful.
Enjoy your weekend! xoxo
love the humor. Wonderful!
i like happy ending stories ...
thanks !!!!
Oh, my gosh... this post is priceless!! Love it!!
Oh that picture of the calf is so cute and sad all at the same time! Loved this post!
The girls were so happy to see that you got Daisy out of the mud. They thought she was the cuteset thing! Did you all just happen to come across this poor little thing?
BTW, your blog must have been on my mind last night b/c I had a dream that I was visiting Spain and all the men looked like Antonio B. It was quite funny!
so cute. and now you earned your right to a nice relaxing weekend :)
A hero!! Great post :)
Oh, love these photos! This place looks heaven to me!
I always thought you were a mensch, Jane...but this is solid proof! You're my heroine!! [and the calf's too :] I'm sure in some Buddhafield, your good karma points have doubled...[and the San Miguel beer is a good plug too...I literally grew up with it! ]
p.s. btw, Mastercard is thinking you'd make a good spokesperson...good going!
genial, jajajajjajaja!!!
Would love to hear all the intimate details!
What a great story - loved it!
Calves in Spain, cats in Savannah...I'm beginning to see a pattern emerging here. Soon there will be bloggers climbing up trees to place their cats and dogs on the highest branches, driving cows and sheep into muddy rivers, and dragging whales and dolphins onto beaches.
Only kidding ;)
you're a Buddhist and you didn't even know it.
Q: How many Spaniards does it take to rescue a calf stuck in the mud?
A: One good one!
[Pass GO and collect 1 million karma points now!] :]
Great post - and funny too! viva spanish hero! btw: Thanks for your nice compliment at my blog! You have made my day today! wish you a great sunday, geisslein
holy cow jane (no pun intended) - we had hail here last night! hope your weekend was fun!
i have to tell you this:
when my son was a tinylittle boy he came to me, his hands on his ribs and he said: look mom, i have big tits! i explained to him that those are not your tits, they are your ribs. he was quiet for a moment and then he looked at me inquiringly and said: grandmother has big ribs!
I love this story !
Happy sunday evening !
Did the calf just love you to death after that or what? You just earned so many brownie points the ruin outfit will now be paid back tenfold.
Hey everyone! Thanks for all your comments. It´s great to know I´m not the only one who is laughing!
