oviedo

We stopped in Oviedo for an afternoon.  Cider from Oviedo is famous. Supposedly it´s the best in the country because they only use apples from Asturias to make it.... And if you notice the waiter above- that´s how cider is served.  Jorge loves cider and must have drunk 50 bottles... He said the waiter kept missing his glass... I was just glad I had my trusty boots on...

Jane, I love how the 2 first photos go hand in hand (the shape and colors), pretty cool! Also the rest of the photos are gorgeous too. Ok now I need to make a trip to oviedo for cider!! I love a nice cool beverage. Is it just cider or is it spiked? Have a golden day! xoxo

I particularly liked the 4th picture, but that couple don't look very happy, do they? Maybe they're arguing about the bill or perhaps she's telling him he shouldn't eat any more chocolate.

Wow, the first pic reminds me of the Sagrada Familia, is this another construction designed by Gaudi in Oviedo? Love the juxtaposition of cider and church..if it's a church :)

Great images and description... it makes me miss Europe - and I love hearing about Spain too, it's part of my roots.

I will be participating in the "breakfast" photo on Wednesday :) So count me in!

I visited Oviedo on my trip to Asturias a few years back and loved that (as a bunch of Scots) we saw bagpipers playing for a wedding there - a truly Celtic instrument and not just Scottish!

I knew a girl who was blue. So she painted her world pink. xoxo
