bruuuce!

Bruce Springsteen got me through high school, college, moving to a new country, crying babies at 2 am... let´s just say I owe the guy...  I saw him last year in Bilbao, San Sebastian, and Barcelona.  We have tickets to see him again this July in Bilbao. I heard that when he was staying in San Sebastian, at the Hotel Maria Cristina, he walked in on a lady having a sauna. He put his finger to his lips, telling her not to say anything, and sat down with her. So my plan is to find out where he´ll be staying in Bilbao and hang out in the sauna all day. I have no problem with meeting Bruce for the first time in nothing but a little white towel...

Below is the updated list of links for Corner View. It would be great if you could add these to your blogs. Thanks!

He is the best. I went to a concert a zillion years ago, and it is still my all-time favorite. He played for four hours. What a blast. Can't wait to hear about it!

Another online friend of mine goes to most of his concerts in Europe so she'll be there too. I think she's even met him, so she might know where he hangs out.

You can find her here:

"July/August Think I'll be somewhere in Spain-Bilbao/ Benidorm/ Seville/ Valladolid /Santiago de Compostella, (all or some of) as Mr Springsteen is playing"

He's one of the few musical artists we listened to in the '80s, that we don't have to be embarrassed about now.
Would you be too star-struck if you really met him, or would you be able to speak to him like he was a regular person?

My brother just went to see him in Atlanta. He said the concert was fantastic -- and someday he hopes to get his hearing back!

I saw the boss in 1986 !!!! in France ! He sang during four hours... but, if I still like him today, I prefer the Bruce of the eighties ;) In december, in France... Rammstein !!! Another kind of rock !!! lol ! And thanks for the links... I'll add them in the next corner view.

Ohhh... the days of Bruce. Many moons ago when he played in Milwaukee WI was the only concert I went to, but I love his music. You are too funny! I hope your wish comes true and you have a quiet moment with him, but the only thing is you must share! Enjoy! xoxo

The good ol' music of the 80's, brings back memories to me too. That image of his booty.....remember that as well! Good luck finding him.

Even people who claim not to be Springsteen fans can't resist the pull of Thunder Road.

I'm not sure that I understand what Corner View is...

I wish you luck!

Good plan! You crack me up! I feel the same way about certain songs. I swear I have worn out the song Grey Street by Dave Matthews!

I just saw Bruce the other week in Los Angeles for the first time. It was as near to a religious experience as a concert can be. He is really something -- full of joy and just so sexy...

Hi Jane,
I wish I knew that story when I lived in NY, might have tried it in some New Jersey saunas!

BTW, sorry, with my format I can't seem to 'link' from my posts. THere must be a way, but for now that is why I don't put the list, and rather link right to you on the blog list at the sidebar.
Hope it's ok,
Happy today,

Bruce got me through high school, college and my first solo trip abroad. In 1994, just when I had hit my all time homesickness capacity, he was playing just outside of Paris, and I was there. I scalped a ticket and loved every minute of it. I saw him last year a month after my sister was murdered, and even though I was in a daze, he gave me three hours of happiness. He is amazing.I went this year with one of my oldest friends and sang and danced the night away. He played Rosalita as an encore. We were thilled. Have a great time at the show.
