san prudencio afternoon

In the afternoon it is custom to walk to Armentia, which is on the outskirts of town. There you will find many stands selling food, wine, and arts and crafts. This year was the first without rain in ten years. Let´s just say people were happy...

I´m off to spend a weekend "familiar" with Jorge´s family. We are staying in a hotel where I swear The Shining was filmed. If I don´t post on Monday... come looking for me... please... HAPPY WEEKEND!

*coucou finally has her transport photo up- It´s so cool!

Oh those tubs of olives look amazing ! I miss those. We used to go to an olive store that was just outside of Pryca that had big tubs like this. They'd let you taste them and I'd be in heaven !!!

je vais parler français parce qu'en anglais c'est trop difficile..Le pain au chocolat j'en mangeais quand j'étais petite et j'adorais ça.Quelles images appétissantes ! J'aime tout !!

omg, I still haven't recovered from your "The Shining" comment... :D I'll send out a search party of Javier Bardem lookalikes if you're not back by Monday, at midnight!

Otherwise, San Prudencio looks like time stood still, or the Spanish version of "Under the Tuscan Sun?" [sorry, that's my only reference, and my not-so-secret Old World fantasy]. I hope you saved some olives for me!

That looks like such a pleasant way to spend the afternoon, but those pictures were really just to lure us all into a false sense of security, before that ominous last paragraph, weren't they? : )
