Favorite chocolate bonbons? (Hey, had to start with an important one.)
My favourites are Icelandic "Bingo kulur" with chocolate covered licorice caramel. Maybe they are more candy than bonbons, but they are amazingly good!
ummm. . . lindt milk chocolate truffles, the one with the red wrapper! you know them, don't you? also. . .homemade pecan pralines. not quite a bon bon, is it?
Don't talk to me about chocolate - I just ate a bar of lovely Galaxy chocolate and then punished myself for 20 minutes in the gym! the chocolate is still sitting on my thighs and now I have a pulled muscle!!
Hummmm yummy, i love milk chocolate caramels too, i've already seen they being made in a dairy industry when i was in college!!
querida jane, my favorite one is a tipycal brazilian chocolate. the name is Serenata de Amor (Love Serenade) and is made with cashew nuts cream. (You must notice that i really love cashew nuts and all things i can made with cashew nuts). I post about this chocolate cause you have to see this one, when you have time!! http://anacrisabreu.blogspot.com/2009/08/serenata-de-amor.html
oh goodness, you are going to make me choose just one kind of bon bon to call my favorite? ok ok, white chocolate-cardamom truffles. wait, no. salty dark chocolate caramels. no, dark chocolate coconut! this is hopeless, jane.
I agree with Cate ... it's too difficult to mention just one. I love all chocolate dark or milky, but without any fruit or alcohol flavors added or the worst - mint!
I have a wonderful recipe that mixes bittersweet chocolate and marzipan. Those homemade truffles are my favorite, but I also really love reeses peanut butter cups. Peanut butter cups are the only craving I've ever had while pregnant.
Oh yea~Chocolate & Caramel!! Lovely capture~love that blue door! Lovely blog also, beautiful captures, & very interesting content, look forward to my next visit! Have a great weekend! Cat
