What was your most embarrassing moment?

Running for the T (trolley) in Boston and realizing, after I´d paid and found a seat, that my shirt was wide open...

I woke up and wanted to go out and get a quick cup of coffee, so I threw on clothes real quick that were on my bathroom floor. Happily walking down Main St. with my cup of joe, an old pair of underwear slid out of my jeans leg right on the sidewalk. A couple noticed it and was "nice" enough to come up and let me know.

We were invited over at a colleague of Mark and his German wife. My German was at that time even worse than it is now.
They had a sweet little kitten and I asked her name. The cat lover that I am, I called her often that night. Little did I now that I completely misunderstood her name and that I called her a rather vulgar name for the female parts. I saw the woman cringe a few times but thought that she didn´t like me to pay attention to the kitty. At the end of our visit the host told me about my mistake. That was the last time Mark let me met his colleagues. :)

Walked around my office and went out to lunch without noticing that the back of my skirt was tucked into my pantyhose.

Playing in the pool with my then four-year old when I noticed my right boob had 'esacaped' from my suit. I quickly shoved it back in and my little one said, "Oh that's been out the whole time!."

AWESOME! Seriously one of my favorite posts. Great picture too.

As for mine, there are far too many to count. When I was younger I would constantly embarrass myself in front of the guys I liked. I was such a spaz.

I have one similiar. While working at the airport young and thought I was as good as butter on bread. It was during the busy hours of OHare ran to the bathroom walked out through the busy crowd back to my station. When a gent came up to my podium and said "excuse me miss you have paper behind you" With attitude I said what? He says you have paper behind you. I thought now who would put paper up on my gate sign behind me I turned around and didn't see paper there, but flying behind me tucked in my pants! It wasn't the only thing my suit jacket was crunched in my pants with a long and I mean long trail of TP!! OK I let out a secret in this story too. I use a lot of paper to cover the seats. years later I still check and recheck before I leave the bathroom. xoxo

So very many. Here's one, that didn't much embarrass me at the time, oddly. In my 16 hours a day breastfeeding haze with my newborn daughter, I answered the door for the UPS man with my top pulled up, both nursing bra flaps down, both large, milky DDs going rogue. He was gracious enough to just smile. I never noticed until I shut the door.

Oh, this is a good post :-D

My embarrasing moment? I was in a small boat, trying to help tie it to the dock. I had my hands on the dock and my feet in the boat, getting further and further apart, until... I fell in the river.
Did anyone laugh? Oh, yes!

one of them was, when i discovered at home, that my long white dress had a huge hole in the backside, after coming from a sunny summer festival.

But then... I have many embarrassing moments because I speak too much without thinking...
