"It's hard convincing yourself that where you are at the moment is your home, and it's not always where your heart is. Sometimes I win and sometimes not." -- Jonathan Carroll

What is at the top of your bucket list (things you want to do before you "kick the bucket")?
oooh, there are a few items fighting for that #1 spot on my list. like cross country US road trip. or an australian road trip (that ayers rock looks awesome). i'd love to travel in japan too.
I grew up in Alaska, so I have seen the Northern Lights. They are beautiful. It is like someone taking a paint brush and swirling it over the pitch dark sky. Then he paint begins to dance. I think before I kick the bucket I would like to run a 5k race. I would also like to see the Christus in Brazil.
Hello ~ just found you from Kimmie's Art in Red Wagons :) there are SO many places I would Love to visit....Bhutan at the top of the world....land of the thunder dragon for starters! ~*~ Patty
Feel at present time to wake up and open the window shelters to let air in. My husband and child sleeping. Hot air inside the house, a warm smell and the new air moving the light curtain.
Hmmm ... live in a little wooden cabin, in the woods, and the snow, with my wee family and a roaring fire place; the windows decorated with paper snowflakes, the home, cosy and fragrant as we bake pies and gingerbread, and baskets of wool to knit with and quilts to keep us warm.
Get up from bed with no worries or duties. Travel around the world with my hubbie and daughters. Sit down at the beach and watch a thousand sunsets surrounded by family and friends, while having a Coke with ice and a slice of lemon. Once and again...
