I knew a girl who was blue. So she painted her world pink. xoxo

Someone from the future was not having fun at the medieval fiesta.
(PS my word verification: ovaries)
I think there may be such a thing as being festivaled out. Just too many wimples, costumes, blaring sounds and bright colours. I have days like that too, when I look and feel 80 years old!
That was great! I love the geese, so funny...
it looks like you are allways celebrating some kind of thing!
Such bright colors and beautiful light! Oh, how fun it looks to live in a storybook world, lucky you to sample such treats:-)
I like your posts ! It's permanent fair :)
Looked like fun! I love the geese :-)
I love old Spanish people, they always look so grumpy, but really they are not and always have something to tell!
I love the last picture... those ladies seems to be septic ! bises
I like colors, impressions, people ! I can hear noise and music ! charming !
Wish I was there to celebrate. Those "costillas" on the grill look delicious, and I can basically hear the musicians play "clavelitos de mi corazon".
Ah, los tunos! What fun! You always manage to make me homesick! :)
This city looks beautiful, I must venture up there some time soon...Also, can you either drop by my blog or post the rules (concept) of corner view somewhere on your site? Then I may join in. X
I remember when Catalina went to the Medieval festival in vitoria, she was really afraid. She has never come back...
What does wimples mean?
It looks so colorful and fun! I want to go! I've got a costume around here somewhere...
Looks like a fun festival and really well thought out! We have a medieval festival that comes to town every year, but I still haven't taken my boys. Maybe this year!
Cracking up over here. that couple is so "done" eh? Great geese batman!!
jajaj, here in La Coruña we also have one, and in Lugo we have the roman one, very funny for kids!!
My boys would LOVE this festival!
oh my... looks like too much fun..wish i was there, thanks jane for sharing and making us feel like we WERE there :)
I'm interested in the pottery. I probably would have pulled up a chair at this spot.
I got a kick out of the couple looking out the window. It is almost as if I can read their minds-you see one medieval festival you seen them all.
Nice Jane thanks for sharing my friend. xoxo
very very cool photos. Really capturing the essence of the day. And my favorite was the last one, the older couple on the balcony! LOL
Aw thank you so much for adding me! Should I publish the post on Wednesday?
That looks like a great festival - and "wimple" threw me right back to my History of Costume class!
The geese are so great!!!!
Oh my, I'm impressed very much by your interesting post, sure I'd like to be a part of this festival. Gorgeous that pottery making, hands working magic and inspired.
great shots, I love them all !!!
and i enjoyed learning 10 things abou you ...
What a colorful weekend! Looks like a fun time!
It was a pity not to find you taking photos. Mine are less colourfull.
Next time, we have to do a tour together.
Great photos, Jane. You really capture the festive atmosphere. I especially like the geese, but I wonder were they on a forced death march?
looks just awesome! love the goose shot. (and the two skeptical spectators in the end :)
Looks like such fun! THank you for sharing!
loving it, Jane. it's so cool that it looks fake. amazing, isn't it?
I'd love to wear a wimple right now...it's cold here today! Love the pictures of this festival. I'd rather be there nooow!
I, too, love the geese! And the happy guy in red looking at the camera. The couple in the last picture crack me up. So many festivals when there is such a looooong, rich history, huh?!
Oh...I would have fun being there. Great food, lots of colors and many friendly people. ;)
It always looks like you're having lots of fun! I love the two ladies in the last picture. I wonder what they're talking about?
Even the local geese attended!!

Oh my gosh I need to move to Spain, this is just beautiful and colourful and awesome. Your life is so rich and fun!
Very cool. I love the last photo best -- the expressions on the old guy and woman are priceless...
looks like so much fun.
Great photo's. I like the pottery picture.
Wow! your photos are always so amazing! and I am not surprised the old couple look grumpy, people from Spain (and specially in the north) tend to be way, way too noisy! My grandmother used to frown like that too ;-)
hi jane! LOOOOVE your sunny pictures! beautiful colors and joy!!!
pic n°6: soooo lovely :-))
genial la foto de las ocas!

I DO love the word wimple.
And how can those women look so dour with this vibrant, jolly festival right under their noses?
Beautiful!

Oh, these are great shots! I would love to visit Spain to see a festival! very inspiring!!
That festival looked like so much fun! I love the fact everyone is in costume.
Personally, good food, beer, costumes and music = a happy time. I can't imagine having a bad time at this festival.
I love these pics - for a split second,I felt like I was there, looking around. Now, that's a festival!
