kiss and tell friday

(We´ve had two days of autumn and have gone straight to winter... We lit the fireplace for the first time last night...Look Aimee fuzzy socks!)

What are you looking forward to?

I have two trips coming up. I´m going home to Philadelphia next week, (yes, after living in Spain for umpteen years, I still call Philly my home.) and I´m going to Egypt at the end of December. I already have my bags packed, and have been sitting by the front door with my coat and my umbrella. (Just like Berta´s Auntie does...)

I love winter but I need to spend the fall for facing it. :)

I hope you will have the greatest time back home and of course in Egypt!

Wow a fireplace - I miss that.
Well I'm looking forward to a week in Singapore. Yeah we leave next week.
And in Christmas right now we're planning to go to Phuket.

Hey April I hope you make it to Thailand.

Happy Weekend.

We have a beautiful fireplace which we have unfortunately never used because my husband cannot stand the thought of having to clean the whole mess up... but there is nothing like a cozy fire when it's cold outside. In WV, we needed them quite often.

Have fun back at home and enjoy the cheddar! I'm sure like me, you have a long list of things you must eat while you are there. Philly this time of year... isn't that a little cold now?

i'm looking forward to summer sun, fresh greens, cukes, strawberries, tomatoes, herbs...from the garden, summer knitting, feeling warmth, going to the beach, camping, the sun, heat, smoothies, cold green tea.......

What am I looking forward to?
Summer, summer, summer! This rainy season and cold weather are not my favorites times:(

Right now I'm not waiting for anything. My autumn break began today and that's what I have been waiting the last weeks!

Going to Philadelphia and Egypt sounds great. Hope you have great time during your both trips!

Sweet cozy picture. It's cold here, too. Every time it gets cold, I'm ready to migrate south with the birds!
Philly and Egypt? Wow!
I can hardly wait to see your pictures. You'll have fun with your camera.
Since the weather is not something to look forward to, I look forward to Halloween.
Next week is the Halloween parade, and Trick-or-treat night... I'll wear an old rickety lady mask and pass out candy to the neighborhood goblins :+)
Have a great weekend!

Spending time outdoors in the cold sunshine this weekend - destroying the gardens at Falkland Palace with the National Trust Conservation Volunteers (ok we won't really destroy the gardens), going to Paris at the end of November, my friends coming to visit from London next week- oh and going to the dentist - and no I am not really looking forward to the last one!
Enjoy your trip home!

That picture looks so cozy and inviting. It still doesn't really feel like Autumn here. It's been very hot and humid. Today is U.F. Homecoming, so I'm looking forward to taking my son to the parade this afternoon.

Philadelphia is lovely. We visited there about 4 years ago for a huge family reunion at the Newlin Grist Mill (Chester County) and keep talking about how we'd like to go back.

I would love to go to Egypt!

Wow, I'm jealous! We were supposed to go to Egypt once and then the cruise was cancelled. It was a while back when they thought it wouldn't be safe for tourists.

I'm looking forward to being settled in our new apartment just in time for Thanksgiving and all the festive decorations.

It's raw and chilly here -- and raining. I've been lighting fires with Duraflame logs because the wood is so wet.
Let me know when you get State-side!

Such a cozy picture!

I envy your trip back "home." I really miss the States during that stretch between Halloween and Thanksgiving. Even though we still celebrate those holidays in England, it's really not the same.

Oh yes, and I'm looking forward to having two of my best girlfriends here this weekend. xx

I don't think I've ever been to a high school football game, and we're going to one tonight. I'm excited to watch all the high school-ness without any of the angst! Longer term, I'm looking forward to some answers... will my husband have a job after the New Year, where will Eddie go to kindergarten next year...what will the answers to both of these mean about my roles... stuff like that!
