I´ve been living on lists lately... so why mess up a good thing...
1. Philadelphia- I´m off to "mi pueblo" (Spanish joke) for a few weeks and won´t be around. I´ll be posting some Philly snaps on Flickr. That´s the plan anyway...
3. Bagels- My first meal when getting home is a sesame bagel with cream cheese, tomato, and white fish salad... What´s "white fish salad"? One of those things that is so delicious, but better off not knowing what it is exactly...
4. 5:00 am- When I get up because of the time difference. The best time to catch up with back issues of Architectual Digest, W Magazine, and Rowan Knitting Magazine (don´t laugh at me Vanessa!). Just realized that these three magazines basically sum up my stepmother. Yes, she´s pretty cool!
5. Mochachino- My coffee of choice.
6. Barnes and Noble- Where you can find me camped out in the cookbook section.
7. Pentax K7- Playing with my new camera. Sorry to all you NFN (Nutty for Nikon) people, but I´m sticking with my Pentax... Hey someone has to...
8. Thank you- (Don´t say it nearly enough.) Thank you for all your (funny, kind, generous, inspiring, inquisitive- to name a few) comments and emails. As JGY eloquently put it - you are a group of "beautiful spirits." And I couldn´t agree more!
9. I´ll miss you!
10. ¡Dos besos muy gordos!
P.S. I´m thinking of getting The Coco a little lifting around the mouth... What do you think?

Hasta la vista, senorita Jane, buena suerte :)
great shots, as usual. I could have sworn the first one was s/where in Northern Europe. Vitoria! who'd had thought.
have a fab time and eat lots of steak sandwiches (local grub there, right?) "bocata bistec" :)
(could you actually take some pictures of those? bocata bistec shots?)

As for Coco, a little sag gives character.
Enjoy your trip! I am looking forward to see what you bring back from home...
I think you're hysterical! About the dog's mouth comment!
Have so much fun! And who knows, maybe we'll run into each other here in Philly!
One for my list--while you are away, I will go to starbucks and have a mochachino (spelling?!) and think of you in Philly enjoying a bagel with whitefish!
Very happy travels to you, beautiful spirit^^
enjoy! and come back soon<3
ps. Coco looks a lot like me.
Oh Jane... you had my mouth watering at bagel. Even though Germany is what I affectionately call the "land of bread and potatoes"... they have not figured out the divine perfection that is a bagel. If I thought they would still be fresh, I would have my folks bring over a whole suitcase in the spring. Philly... I bet they make a really mean bagel. Enjoy!
Have a nice travel, a beautiful time, and wonderful holidays !! Bises
Wonderful autumn colors in your corner Jane.
Have a nice trip - it sounds that you are going to do a lot of nice things over there!
