My favorite hangout? Home sweet (and warm) home. The weather has been so grey and cold that I haven´t even ventured out for a coffee. I´ve been spending more time cooking, baking, organizing, and working on a few projects that I had been putting off. I leave you with one of my favorite hangouts on the internet. The Selby.com- Todd Selby is one of my favorite photographers. (I know, I´m preaching to the choir here.) A few more reasons why I like to hang out here. Well, at the moment, Daniel is playing the piano, Sara is studying at the dining room table, Jorge is reading the Harvard Review in "his chair", and The Coco is in a very cute position on the sofa.... For me, it doesn´t get much better...

Sounds great. Seems like lots of CV's contributors are finding home their fav. hang out, including me. Are we showing our age, or is the the weather, or maybe we are all very lucky and happy to have such great homes. Probably all the aforementioned.

I like being home too, just in front of my computer! But today my favorite hangout is bookshops ;-)
Home is where the heart is, home is where I am. Like you, I hang out in front of the computer or the computer follows me to the laundry :D

I'm so relieved to read this. I was feeling so inadequate yesterday, when thinking about this topic, because there is no place where I regularly hang out with friends, so I hadn't posted anything for Corner View this week. Now, I think I can go back and post a little something.

I adooooore The Selby. My hubby reads the Harvard Business Review as well, my son plays the piano and my daughter is a book-addict. So.......what's more that we need to know about eachother???

i am so out of blogging practice -
believe it or not it's wednesday and i made it! unfortnately my favorite hangout is closed during the winter months: it is lovely small café on the gorgeous italian garden on garinish island in the harbour of our village. so to sip the best cappucino in town you have to take the boat! i showed some photographs from the past seasons. my second best would be home, of course!
I think ultimately most people love their homes. Have a happy week!

Because of 'surprise' snow in my town, I did not like to stay at home:( When at home I enjoy drinking my glühwein, highly advisable, Jane:)
My favorite hang out is my office -- nice big, comfy chair, my computer, books and music!
Yes, Home IS the best place to hang out. That's my second favorite (mostly because I like to hang out at home by myself - when it's finally quiet).
I noticed an old Pennsylvania license plate in the background there. It made me smile because I too kept one from "home" (a Minnesota plate).

I agree! It's been very cold in the past couple of days, so I feel great when I come home. Having a glass of red wine with jazz music makes me relax...
