My personal style... hmmm I have to think about that one. At the moment, I´d have to go with my personal favorite... keeping warm... I would love to be one of those girly types that always has perfect hair, make up, shoes... I really admire them, seriously.... But I never seem to have the time, or the energy... or the right pair of shoes... I wear a size 12 (42) shoe. Can you imagine me walking around in heels? (Even if I could find them, which I can´t.) Watch out small children!!...
I´m always on the lookout for the perfect tee. (H&M´s come pretty close.) I love soft sweaters, my trusty Levi´s (They´ve been around since the 1920s. Old Levi was onto a good thing...), and scarves... I covet scarves. If I don´t have something draped around my neck I feel naked... and cold...
I´m smiling because I just remembered my gig with Ralph Lauren... If you could see me then...
Next week´s theme is "my favorite hang out." I´m in San Sebastian today. I´ll be around soon to visit and pick up some tips.
Sending you all a big hug!

You are enjoying San Sebastian, lucky girl. Pity it was a rainy day.
Lovely warm cardigan.
San Sebastian, you lucky girl!! Enjoy your day
Nice and comfy :)have a great day!
(I know all about the shoes, my sister has the same size, it's always quite a challenge to find nice ones, she swears by uggs nowadays)
Oh, yes, it's a love story with Levi's and I (especialy the old 501) !!! and I'm always wearing something around my neck too ! warm and comfortable ; ) Bises and thanks for this choice.
oh wow, you must be a very stylish girl! I fell exactly the same if I don´t have something draped around my neck. I love you pic btw.
Oh, San Sebastian is on my to-visit list and re. style - I prefer to stay warm and comfortable too.
Have a great day!
that´s my style too - and like you I often wish I would be one of these really "stylish" girls...but I am one of the sportys ;o)
have a stylish and great day today!
Warm & comfortable, that's my style as well. Especially when feeling sick...
Enjoy your trip!
Scarves, always scarves;) I'm showing mine too! Happy week and enjoy S. Sebastian!
Glad to be back in CV!! love your style and you must be pretty tall to have size 12 feet... go get some heels and stand tall girl!!!!
Besos!!! (still trying to figure out the upside down ! thing!!)xx
Levi's is the best. I posted my post from last monday . I had no time for my vintage dresses so i keep them for a other time.
Love, daan
I love your sofa!!!
I kept during a long time my brother's Levi's sweater: I loved it!
Hello Jane,
There is no style until you wear comfort! Enjoyed getting to know a little more about you.
And Jane, may I suggest the McLinky for those who participate in Corner View for the week's theme to link-up with you. That way we'll know who's participating and who's ready so we can visit :)
:D My style is similar. Whatever fits and is warm and comfy. It works!
i love your cozy style and always need a scarf, too. i'm glad i'm not alone!
I love Levis too.
And soft grays and the pink of your sofa!! Great textures to your style.
Enjoy!!
this looks like a great, super comfortable outfit to me! and oh, yes, mister linky would be perfect for corner view!
I'm a jeans girl too, no particular brand just one that makes my "tush" look good!!
I also love scarves but not too many opportunities around here to wear them!
Enjoy San Sebastian!!
I don't usually wear scarves around my neck, but the rest of your "look" sounds very similar to my everyday clothes. Comfort is very important!
j'aime beaucoup ta photo ,les couleurs sont les mêmes que les miennes...hé!hé!
bonne semaine!
I'll be in San Sebastian in a couple of days... so I guess I'll get to see the afterparty :)
I'm catching up in all your posts and other blogfriends. I'm sorry I haven't been very active on my corner view. I promise I'll mend it by tomorrow. Big hugs Jane!
Nice and warm, yes, soft and tactilish (is that a propper word..?)
Your stack of clothes looks so comforting. I'm not a stylish girl either. Oh well. We'll have to leave that to the girly-girls. :-)
Hi! I agree! I just never have time to look perfect all the time and to be honest I just don't want to live my life that way. If you are looking for perfect t's check out Anne Taylor Loft the next time you are in the states.
I don't really like "those girly types that always has perfect hair, make up, shoes..." ! Warm and comfortable in clothes... may be means the same in mind ;)
Love your colors too !
I am also a scarf girl. Short and wrapped around my neck, and long, wrapped around my coat like a scarf. It's all fun!
Nice and comfy clothes Jane! Like you I'm a jeans girl. Have a nice day in SB.
You are so cute! You certainly cannot live in Spain in the winter without a scarf! Your throat might get cold and you will get sick! :-) It's Spain fault that I have a scarf addiction!
Style is not what you wear, but how you wear it: I'm sure you're the most stylish girl in San Sebastian today!
PS why do you keep going to San Sebastian?!
Just like you as long it is cold always something around my neck.
besos
This is my still too- comfy and warm. It is funny I was going to show my scarves but ran out of time. Hey my friend you must share your gig with RL.
After almost 14 years of wearing heels daily I haven't worn a pair since. Comfy is my foot style.
Have fun!! xo
I love your style! and it's similar to mine... great cardigan.
I'll be posting my corner view later today as well. I'm taking time to rethink my personal style :-)
aww...great style! I laughed when I saw the photo because I'm wearing a similar scarf today. I too feel cold without something around my neck! Such a pretty photo you posted!
I want to be one of those stylish girls too! But right now, I'm all about being warm too!
I'm wearing brighter colors now. It makes me happy on a cold winter day. I posted my corner view on Monday. Hope you find it!
What's this Ralph Lauren gig? You must tell us all! (I love scarves too! i promised myself that this year I would not buy any more scarves and so far I have picked up 4 new ones!!!). Besos and say hello to La Concha!
your style sounds pretty close to mine! enjoy your time at San Sebastian!! what a great place!
Keeping warm is a style I like! Hope you are warm and well. :)
Yes, the scarf, I live in them too :^)
Love your style Jane!
warm and comfortable!
that´s the way we want it :)
hugs, dear jane!
aaaah! i was hoping for a real-wearing-outfit-to-get-a-good-look-what-she-looks-like-jane-picture..
al we get is a pile of laundry.....
shame
;D
happy cv jane!
I'm all about comfort these days. Who am I kidding - I'm ALWAYS all about comfort, pregnant or not. hehe. Have fun in San Sebastian!
Ha, I am the exact same way! I wish I could be that "put together" girl, but alas, it never seems to happen.
I have a size 10 shoes and I know how hard it is to find good fitting shoes too.
You have great style, Jane. I talked about my scarves, also. And size 12!? I'm an 11 (5' 10") and I so know the feeling--and I've hip-chucked a few too many children, unfortunately. Warm, comfortable, pretty and practical is a good style, I think. xo xo
Amy at On Bradstreet
grey cardi and scarfs? definitely got a few of those i my wardrobe... here its all about staying cool at the moment, so dresses for me :)
enjoy san sebastian!
I think you have a cozy style, some sportive and classics, right? Have a lovely day, hot cup of coffee & warm greetings, Jane~
oh, we are back! yay. glad i missed the personal style week, though. he he. while i used to love funky clothes there just are not any places to get things that are cool and fit me here in madison (i'm 6' tall - clothes shopping is a JOKE). so, i stick to black/brown/gray. and only show 'style', i guess, in scarves and necklaces! ;) i love scarves.
nice one Jane
levis and scarves for sure, you like comfort :) same here
Yes scarves it is!!!
Warm huggs back xx
Oh the scarves... As long as I have a scarf and nice shoes, the rest is just a detail in wintertime!
Besotes.
oh my goodness. this is so ME! ditto on the outfit. ditto on the size shoes.
stay warm!

I am a no style and my friend is basically dressing me out once a year when I'm back in europe...The funny thing : I looove Audrey's hepburn style
I love your style, really cool!
Great relaxed style Jane. I'm a big fan of the scarves as well. LOVE the fabric of your chair. I'm running late with my contribution - must dash to finish it off now!!!
Agree with the idea of keeping warm and the struggle for shoes, but for me it's because they are so skinny!
San Sebastian! Drool!
Love your style. In some ways, we could probably share wardrobes. Except the shoes.
I'm posted. Finally.
Love that stack of clothing, but equally love those pink textur-y flowers... love your loose and fun style Jane
Oh, do spill your R.L. history! I'm dying to know!
I like your personal style.
I dress for comfort.
And there's that couch again...LOVE!!!
Jane! I have never met anyone (female) with bigger feet than mine! I wear an 11, and it does pain me that so many of the most attractive shoes come only up to a 10. However, I have always loved my big feet and feel no need to diminish them. I love scarves, too, and collect way too many of them just for pretty...though most of the time all they decorate is my studio door, where they hang in heaps and wreaths!
There's nothing better than an old pair of Levi's and a favorite sweater!
Have fun in San Sebastian :+D
xoxoxo
Franny
I have to say ... I like your style !
I have to find a pair of Levis. The older the better.
Perfect. And it sounds like me. And I have size 11 feet. It's hard to find shoes...
the corner view is a funny idea - saw it on kays blog.
I remember, many, many years ago, when we were vacationing in Biarritz, I insisted that we drive to San Sebastian to eat at a restaurant I'd read about that had wonderful baccalao - so we started off early in the day and spent about ten hours in that part of Spain - lovely. We found the restaurant, had the baccaloa and it was every bit as fabulous as Fodor said it would be.
Love your "personal style".
Besos,
Ana
Are you sure you wrote that right, a 12?!? I wear a 10 and I usually buy a 41 or 42 too. How in the world do you ever find shoes in Spain? After venting my frustration to someone about shoe and clothing sizes in Germany, I was informed that things run even smaller in Spain.
It is very chic to wear scarves here too, even when it is hot. Since my body temperature always seems to be running like a ten-kilowatt oven, scarves are only for winter when it is really cold. Sometimes I get the urge when it is 90 degrees outside and I see a girly, girl running around with her perfectly matched scarf to stop her, kindly take her scarf off, and inform her that she doesn't really need it because she is hot... or at least making me hot looking at her.
i'm with you on the scarves! i cannot relax on a cold day without a scarf!
what's the ralph lauren gig all about? tell, tell.
love that photo! your style looks all warm and cozy and those colours are so nice.
i should wear more scarves i think...
San Sebastian? I've never been before. Lucky you!
xo
Wonderful to get a glimpse of the personality behind this magnificent blog, one of the best!
Lots of love
Agneta, the Swedish one
Hm....I only have one levi's jeans, but, like you, I have many scarves as well. I like your personal style. XXX
This could me my pile except I prefer Lee.
Decontract and chic - good choise !
Besos Jane
ps... That chair or couch on which your clothing sits is GORGEOUS.
Jane, you are (with maaaaaany years, and kg. apart!)lol, my twin: jeans, white shirt, soft sweaters!
Besotes

wow, it must be really hard to find shoes. In the US it wouldn't be a huge problem, but in Europe, especially in the Mediterranean regions? Yikes.
Love that sofa cover! Such a pretty background for your sweaters.
oh dear jane, were we separated at birth? We have a very similar style. I am perpetually cold so scarves are a must. and I too admire those gorgeous girls that have the mascara and beautiful make up but can't live up to it. oh and H&M and I are very good friends. Cuídate mucho.
So cute and comfy!
Nice style, Jane!
Happy Day!
