it´s starting to feel like christmas

I had a little Christmas party with my students. Still a little high from all the sugar...
And thanks for your suggestions. I´m going to try to figure it out tomorrow. I´ll keep you posted:):):) A little blog humor.
Big besos!

Beautiful photos, especially the first and the fourth.

There are very few signs of Christmas here in Oman, but it is tolerated. I was once an outlaw Santa Claus in Saudi Arabia, where Christmas is illegal.

SWEET!

i missed the part about bigger pictures in blogger from the last post. you do have to change the HTML within your blog template to widen the pics, but you also have to host the pictures outside of blogger. (if you keep the pictures in blogger, the pictures will be blurry.) i upload mine in flickr, then copy and paste the html code in my post.

it sounds complicated, but it's not. it takes an evening of boredom and maybe a bit of swearing, but after you get it all set up then it requires no further maintenance.

i'm pretty sure this is the tutorial i used to adjust my settings:

good luck!

the last picture-- are those haribo bears on a sugar cookie?! i miss haribo!!!

i really enjoy seeing your pictures. i lived in berlin, germany, and traveled all over europe. a part of me is still there, so thanks for posting pictures (i live vicariously through them) :)

also, to ian in oman: i was in oman during christmas back in 2006. in the big stores in muscat, there were christmas trees and santas galore! also eid al-adha was right after christmas, so it was like one giant celebration :)

Looks like some seriously delicious Christmas cookies being made there!

Re the photo size. Do you have the latest blogger version? I just chose small, medium, large or ex-large when the photo has been imported into the blog.

Hello Lovely, i hope all is well and that you are enjoying Madrid a little bit more. I see you have already found Peta's International Book Shop, I used to go there a lot before I had kids. What about "taste of America" have you been there yet? Besos

OH, that looks like great fun. I think we'll be doing that tomorrow with the kids.

Thanks for the inspiration.

Meery Christmas! Never thought of putting gummi bears on cookies, but what an awesome idea. Hope you have a Happy New Year!

Candifer, I'm flying up to Muscat next week so I'll have a look. Salalah is a bit different, probably because there are very few Westerners living down here. But, it certainly is a much more tolerant country, in general, than Saudi Arabia.

Anyway, Merry Christmas!

Mmm looks like fun! Nice pictures. As regards the photos- if you click on the photo just after you insert it into the post it should give you the option- small medium, large or extra large. I resize photos and insert them onto blogger from my desktop- no flicker steps involved. I never did anything to my settings. But perhaps you are talking bigger then extra large size?

We baked gingerbread cookies un Saturday. Love how the house fills up with Christmas with the smell of gingerbread cookies.

Your cooking cookies photos are so lively and the kids look like they are truly enjoying themselves.
