san sebastian, coffee, and film

I took these a couple of weeks ago in my favorite coffee shop in San Sebastian with my Pentax MZ-50. (That´s how long it takes to develop black and white film in my town.) A nice little lesson in the virtue of patience. Then again, living in Spain one has got this pretty much mastered. ;)

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

P.D. Si alguien es de Madrid, estoy buscando colegios para mi hijo que va a empezar con bachiller. Si me podríais aconsejar alguno os lo agradecería :) ¡Un abrazo muy fuerte!

P.S. Conny I can´t get to your blog. Help!

Love my visits here and thanks for stopping by mine! I think I eat enough almonds...I shouldn't have to use almond oil! Ha!

I love the first photo, with the high angle looking down on the coffee-drinkers! Looks like a still from a movie.

Enjoy your weekend!

Living in Spain gives you such creative materials!;)

I never print black and white, don't even know where to start.

Enjoyed your photos and envy of your Spanish. Happy Sunday Jane.

ha ha. I'm sure living in small towns in spain helps develop your patiente, hun. however, I reckon small towns in holland, the states or anywhere else would be the same thing...

Jane, I have a friend living in Alcobendas and that she is "psicologa" in one school in Madrid. She has been working there for some years...maybe write email to me saying what kind of school, area and so on and will ask her if you want.

Hello! Where are you finally going to live? I think it would be a good idea to check the schools near your home, this is so big that you can spend a lot of time getting to and from school. Besos

these are so amazing. i adore monochrome and am even more impressed that you shot them with film. as you said to me the other day- only one chance! the result is worth everything, the wait (really 2 weeks?) the risk -really all they are wonderful

Ahh, Jane ~ sorry 'bout that. I'm in the process of changing Hidden Acres Studio ~ so I promise you won't need a password once it's up and running again. I'll let you know when the link is good again (probably some time in Feb.) and I'll let Teresa know too for the CV.

I love you B&W work as much as the color ~ such awesome pictures! Cheers~
