The other day I had the idea to shoot fog... up a mountain... at 6:30 in the morning.... so I called Berta... who agreed to come with me. .. I know.... with friends like me... ;)
It turned out to be one of those surreal experiences where we just blended in with the nature that surrounded us. Wild horses came to give us kisses, herds of sheep walked between us, and the sun dance on the mountains in a beautiful light show. Coffee and home by 10... surreal...
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! For all your lovely comments! I haven´t been around because I´ve been studying for my Spanish driver´s license. I´ve been putting it off for about ten years now and Jorge has finally given me a deadline. It´s really hard (she writes whining...) I´m up to the part about trucks carrying livestock... Only in Spain...

Unos paisajes preciosos, muy bien captados y al final un cafe calentito, buena jornada fotográfica, un abrazo
woho Jill, beyond awesome. Good luck on your driving test.
I once took a surreal walk in the mts of Romania; so wonderous! Glad you had one, and the pictures to prove it!
Good luck on the driving test thing. I am SUPER glad my Mass. license transferred over here in Germany, phew! We would've been out 2k+ Euros otherwise -insane!
sounds perfect Jane!
can I join?
xo
and it's fantastic...I would come with you at 6.30 am too to shoot fog :D
I love the title too (big fan of the Montys)
Trucks carrying livestock - just like this white Sean the Sheep and the horse. All the photos so tranquil and peaceful. Good luck on the test.
Wild horses.... Trucks carrying livestock.
What an awesome life you live!!!
Good for you!! Good luck with the exam... we have that part also in Costa Rica ha ha

it was well worth it! what camera are you using these days, Jane?
great shoots. Early to get up and walk was worth it!
well you certainly succeed - wonderful shots! the first two are magical! good luck on the test!
You need some help?
Love those photos...love that magical place...
Are you here tomorrow afternoon for a beer?
Aah, kind of peaceful, quiet and relaxing series. I imagine I can even breathe that fresh morning air of the mountains!
Good luck for your driving test! Think of all the idiots that are already on the road, so you will manage easily!! ;oD
oh beautiful! i feel the coolness. your friend must have been very happy you put her up to this.
WOW!!!! These are AMAZING!!
Beautiful series Jane!!! Glad to read you.
The first is a Japanese painting ;)
is this where you want to take me to?
:0
I want to take my driving license in Spain, it is much easier than England. My friend is from Venezuela and he has just taken his, he has been driving around on an expired Venezuelan license for 18 years!!
I love the pictures, as always Jane! Although I don't think I will be seeing 6,30am any time soon. xx
sounds like a wonderful experience. the photos are beautiful and i KNOW that "cafe" at the end was divine.
Good luck on your test. I am surprised you don't have one, but I might not either if we lived in Europe. The small streets terrify me. I would rather take the bus or train.
deep breath ! this is awesome ! feel free to give me a call whenever want to go for a hike again !!! ;)
Qué fotos tan bonitas!
Those pictures are fabulous! There really is something magical about shooting in the early morning when the rest of the world hasn't really gotten started with the day yet.
what a beautiful landscape and good luck with your test. i'm happy i could just change my danish one to a spanish one without having to read about livestock etc :)
Absolutely amazing! Good luck with that drivers license! :D
If only the drivers license could be obtained by riding that horse...
Beautiful shots!
Nicki
Good luck with your test. Lovely photos. It must have been wonderful to be so close to the wild horses.
Wow these photos are stunning! Wish I was there :) Good luck on your driving test! I still haven't passed mine :s x
Wow - that first shot is stunning. Definitely worth getting up for!
Good luck with the driving test!
good luck ... you can do it! love these shots. new, old, same, different - it's all good!
Wow, what a super idea! These are very beautiful photographs.
You are the only one that can make fog look so beautiful!
Isn't Berta the gal who was with you drinking a beer pulling a cow of the mud?!! I miss you! xo
no worries. strange rules anywhere, in europe, but i wish you ALL the best. you'll pass with flying daggers (i know, i'm mixing up proverbs here, as usual).
just show 'em a picture of two of your beloved spain, and that could work as a treat too... ahem.
n♥
I miss the mountains ...
well, indeed.
that fog...
Those are views worth getting up early for-- Gorgeous!
I can't imagine what it must be like to study for a driving test in a different country. Getting that license will be a major accomplishment. Good luck!
xo jj
Good luck Jane!!
