and now for something completely different

The other day I had the idea to shoot fog... up a mountain... at 6:30 in the morning.... so I called Berta... who agreed to come with me. .. I know.... with friends like me... ;)
It turned out to be one of those surreal experiences where we just blended in with the nature that surrounded us. Wild horses came to give us kisses, herds of sheep walked between us, and the sun dance on the mountains in a beautiful light show. Coffee and home by 10... surreal...

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! For all your lovely comments! I haven´t been around because I´ve been studying for my Spanish driver´s license. I´ve been putting it off for about ten years now and Jorge has finally given me a deadline. It´s really hard (she writes whining...) I´m up to the part about trucks carrying livestock... Only in Spain...

I once took a surreal walk in the mts of Romania; so wonderous! Glad you had one, and the pictures to prove it!

Good luck on the driving test thing. I am SUPER glad my Mass. license transferred over here in Germany, phew! We would've been out 2k+ Euros otherwise -insane!

I want to take my driving license in Spain, it is much easier than England. My friend is from Venezuela and he has just taken his, he has been driving around on an expired Venezuelan license for 18 years!!

I love the pictures, as always Jane! Although I don't think I will be seeing 6,30am any time soon. xx

Good luck on your test. I am surprised you don't have one, but I might not either if we lived in Europe. The small streets terrify me. I would rather take the bus or train.

Those pictures are fabulous! There really is something magical about shooting in the early morning when the rest of the world hasn't really gotten started with the day yet.

You are the only one that can make fog look so beautiful!
Isn't Berta the gal who was with you drinking a beer pulling a cow of the mud?!! I miss you! xo

no worries. strange rules anywhere, in europe, but i wish you ALL the best. you'll pass with flying daggers (i know, i'm mixing up proverbs here, as usual).
just show 'em a picture of two of your beloved spain, and that could work as a treat too... ahem.

Those are views worth getting up early for-- Gorgeous!

I can't imagine what it must be like to study for a driving test in a different country. Getting that license will be a major accomplishment. Good luck!
