I´ve been in Madrid hanging out with my baby girl. I didn´t take many pictures because I was too busy being dragged from shop to shop. I did fit in a retrospective on Eugene Delacroix. I have a thing for handsome painters who have been dead for over a 100 years... and who were probably gay.... ;)
Hope you are having a great week! Big hugs!

i totally agree! lovely pictures as always Jane x
I was in Madrid last week - what a great city! Loved it. Found a fab shop near Opera called Tierra Recicla on Bordadores 4. Also excited by a shop that just sells felt! But loved Mercado de San Miguel and the Thyssen Borzemsia collection.
Hope you had fun with your daughter!
Great images. I am glad you are enjoying Madrid and the company of your daughter.
And the details are beautiful Jane, i love how you look at your surroundings, x
The legs in the laundromat, very humorous :-)
lucky you! you're still managing to get around a bit!
great grape shots. also loved the paper bag signs in philly.
Great photo's Jane - especially love the ghostly coffee cups!!
I enjoyed these photos because it gives me inspiration to be more original in what I photograph myself. To look more and see more. It is all out there, but you can't photograph it if you don't see it. Now there's my middle of the night insomnia infused wisdom. I'm sure you were just waiting for that ;)
So glad you were able to spend some time with your daughter.
I like to take time here and taste the sweet life. beautiful, as always !

How beautiful!
You have this thing with Madrid, haven´t you? ;-) I hope your girl is settling well into University life.
Loved the Rioja photos by the way, I went harvesting once to the vineyards of a friend of mine, all I remember is that we were eating all the time (Rioja style, chorizo, salchichón, queso, pimientos...), I went back home with a back pain and a belly ache! Besos!
:D I know what you mean about Delacroix...
