pan con chocolate*

This sandwich is the reason why I run, hike, do pilates, and yoga. Maybe it would be easier to give it up...then again, maybe not...
I ate three of these trying to get the right shot. The sacrifices I make...

*milk, dark, white, or all three...

If I lived nearby I would help in sacrifices department!! This looks so good! All you did was put chocolate between a hard bred and slightly melt it, right?
Great angle Jane!!It was so good now I'm hungry! lol...
Enjoy your day! xoxo

Is it sad that whenever I eat those, I dip them in hot chocolate? My name is Caitlin and I have a problem.

Gosh-o'golly- gumdrops! is it literally pan con chocolate as in, the chocolate bar itself? not even a schmear, like nutella? :] this is positively decadent! is it more than a s'more but less than a fudge bar doughnut [i'm making that up]...bring it on! Lent must be true mortification in Spain...worse than the Spanish Inquisition...without chocolate.

Oh, I remember when I told my American friends about this (childish) Spanish tradition. They had never heard of pan con chocolate before. It was my favourite snack (merienda) when I was a kid, and I still have it at least once a week. Good picture, good topic.

I'm the same way. I'd rather eat what I want and exercise than fast.

it´s a holy union; the bread and the chocolate..
unfortunately not in finnish kitchen, but luckily one can always make it´s own combinations;)
(rye bread and dark chocolate, not bad..)
