it´s a small world, but i wouldn´t want to paint it.*
Wow! That was fun! Thanks for all your kind comments and also for taking the time to join in! Next week´s theme is "breakfast." Can´t wait to see everyone´s photos! I didn´t mention that the shop next to the bar is a sweet shop. What else could a girl ask for... (Carmela, you´d love it!) Also, Ian had the great idea to post everyone´s links with your corner view so it would be easier to travel around. Thanks again and a big hug to everyone!
My family has just left and I swear I´m 10 kilos heavier. The only form of exercise I´ve had in the past week has been raising a fork to my mouth. If only someone would invent forks that weighed 5 kilos...then at least my arms would be in shape...

Hello Jane, the Corner View Project is such a success! It's so much fun to "travel" around the world and see all this wonderful places. I can't wait for the next week edition. "Breakfast" sounds great :)
In my corner of the world I haven't seen two packets of cigarettes together in a long time, I think they're almost becoming ... vintage here!
The view project was very interesting, and I'm wondering whether there's a way I could join in.
What did you say??? Sweet shop?? Click, click, click...picture enlarged....and HEAVEN appeared!!! Wooooaaahhhhh....(gulp)
Anyway....you're right, never ever show that picture to Sara...really never!
I don't want to know how much I have gained :-( after Easter (eggs)
thanks for starting corner view. it's so much fun. i'm still making the rounds to everyone's blog.
am looking forward to next week. what do you think about (modes of)transportation as a theme?
Hi Jane,
your idea has quite taken off....my list of links is growing and growing.
I had a blast looking at all the corners. I might follow in the footsteps of Ian to try to live in as much countries as possible. ;)
And how convenient that between the bar and the sweetshop there is a Medical Center....in case of overeating of overdrinking help is closeby. ;)
Jane what shop all I had eyes for was the bar?!! It was fun! Now for my favorite topic breakfast. Hmmm.... I think I need my love to take me out for a breakfast date. xoxo
you do realize that this has all the makings of HOUSE TRADES down the line... fun, fun :-)
hey- maybe we can trade kids, too?
Jane, in case you haven't seen it before, here is a link to your Technorati page. As Corner View grows, Technorati will start to notice:

JANE!! are you on the supermodel diet: ciggies and beer? i looooooove your corner view! you lucky girl! it's like being on Saint Germain des-Pres, and close to all the good stuff! [i thought for a minute that you were painting, and that was your easel]...where has la familla gone? are you gonna be doing a "Bridges of Madison County" now? except you're the photographer! :D
if you find this magic fork please send me one ... my family left today and I have the same problem than you ...
Loving my desk travel! (to everyone's corner views) What a great idea you had. Thanks for letting me participate, I am looking forward to seeing everyone's yummy breakfasts. I also love Ladybug Zen's idea of modes of trasportation.. my creative juices are already flowing :)
I hear sweets in Spain are not bad ...soon we will send corner - food- parcels around the world, lol
Your project is really fun!! I really enjoy it!! Thank you!
Oh hey Jane! I really like your blog, how cool you live your life in Spain. *sigh* I want in on this corner thing! Looks like fun. ;)
you're so funny!!
I love this idea of a 5 kg fork!!!
makes me smile!!
good evening!
may I play to your breakfast challenge!?
it's a great idea!
I'm Audrey, from Paris.
i had to look up this post again, just to say that this is the first time i've ever seen sigarettes on a blog!!! i sometimes get the feel that it's all very nicely wrapped, pretty, and politically correct. i like it when people stir it up a bit.
