oh, i love local markets like that. in tel aviv it's all year round, every day. and there's always energy. and i'm pretty sure the ladies around here could push your ladies any day. or, they will just run you over with their little trolleys.

God I love shopping in Spain!! The food markets especially...my favourite was the food market in Barcelona (I forget the place but the one in the city centre that is open all the time). I would so tolerate pushy women if we had one here...

One thing I've noticed from this week's Corner View tour is that it seems to be the radish season all over the world. It is here too. They were the first vegetable that I grew successfully in my garden in Spain, so I'm rather fond of them. My peppers were a disaster.
You can see it in this country also, how for some women markets and grocery shopping in general is their time to bring out all their aggressiveness ...
now i know i'll never get through all of today's amazing posts...i drool over every food shot, linger over each photo, read every comment, and then wonder where the time has gone! thanks for starting my day off right!

Amazing photos! I find that it is very common here that people bump into to me and never acknowledge that anything had ever happened... they just keep going. That is why I must learn a few "come back" phrases.
