is it just me, or do your feet hurt too?

That was fun! I think it´s safe to say that I´ve got shopping out of my system for a while. (Jorge would like to personally thank each and every one of you...) Thank you for all your lovely comments! Just a reminder that next week´s theme is "the great outdoors."

Never been to Amsterdam, so cannot suggest anything; I can only say: enjoy it!
Thanks for stop at one of my blogs; the one in italian. The other one "gatto che pesca" (in need of a lifting!) is now mostly in English.
Buen viaje! besos

The middle school students I work with have been reading Anne Frank, so if you post pictures of your trip, I may show them to the class, so they can see that there is more to Amsterdam than just the "Secret Annex".
We also watched the 1950's black and white movie of Anne Frank, so these 12 year olds probably have a mental image of Amsterdam as a drab place with blaring sirens.

Not to self promote, but check out the Amsterdam posts on my blog. My sister lives there so I've been there several times and I just LOVE it.

Wow! Amsterdam, huh? We're going up to Philly on Saturday.... Somehow that just doesn't compare.

LOL... Jane you are so funny. Yesterday my love asked "what are you doing" on the computer I said "shopping" I could see by the look on his face dollar signs. When I said it is free shopping the sigh of relief. LOL...

Thank you Jane, for including me to be part of your "corner view"!! I have met your wonderful blog followers/friends. It also helps me to stay focus on doing some homework and of course take pictures. I am getting so much more then I'm giving, but so well appreciated!

I swear my face will soon be on the post office wall as one of the most wanted camera "photo stealers"! LOL...

My friend are going to have a splendid time no matter what you do or don't do. You will be with your a good friend.

xoxox....

Amsterdam was my first ever foreign trip. At the age of 18 I sat on a bar stool, drank 15 bottles of Amstel Bier, fell for a barmaid called Marina, watched her brother take her home at 2am, wondered why I'd drunk so much and had a terrible hangover that seemed to last for the next two days. I'm sure your trip will work out better.

If your feet hurt this week, wait until next week when you're traipsing all around in the great outdoors! :)

Hi Jane!
Only another Philly person would understand your question "Jim or Pat's"! We've found 2 other places -- much closer to my mom's called Nunzio's (yes, really!!) and Bravo's. Both have phenomenal cheesesteaks. I'll think of you when we're eating them!!!

I forgot, does anyone have the time to try to explain to me the easiest way to copy and paste all the links. I feel a little bit stupid to have managed once and this time a total failure. But I guess that's me :-) Have a happy weekend everyone!
