There are usually bulls involved...

Just love it!!! The tientas are just so nice on autumn, with good friends, wine, and some latesummer sun.
Lucky you!
I love "capeas" too
An armada?
Nice photos.
this is divine I wish I was there!! sounds like fun!
the color, the light... so beautiful jane jane jane
Chris and I went to a bull fight in Seville on our honeymoon. I wasn't crazy about the idea (especially once we were in our "sol" seats) - but I had to admit, the drama and pageantry were pretty intoxicating. And when the sun went down I barely noticed the overly perfumed smell of greasy haired dandy in Burberry pants in front of me who blocked every picture I tried to take.
I love the color in your pictures. wish I was there.
Lovely post! Photo nr. 2 counting from the top is my favourite. That photo "is" spain to me. I can almost hear the buzz around the table.
So colorfully Spain.
I love the pictures, they are magazines material.
So I was getting all righteous and was going to comment that I've NEVER done that when getting together with my friends... but then I realized that of course I have! :) I particularly remember the capeas I use to go to with my Secondary school, those were SO MUCH fun!
As always, you're making me miss Spain!
Yes, I agree the colors are smashing. I think us Americans live in a colorless world compared to most Countries.
amazing colours, love your photos - as always :)
Nice capes indeed! This reminds me of a George Strait video, less the dip can :)
fantastic capes!!!
Love the colors!
xo
Thank you for the lovely pictures! I feel like I visit Spain every time you post!
those colors!
just what i would imagine when thinking of spain. (hmmm...hope that reality doesn't mean people actually think of bleach blonde surfers saying "rock on, dude" whenever they think of california!)

Beautiful post Jane !!!
OLE'!!
Wow, wonderfull bright colours!! Wonderful pictures!
Kind regards Monique
Brilliant photos... but as you could imagine, when Germans get together is has nothing to do with bulls, but with beer.
No bulls harmed! That sounds like music to me!!! Happy monday, X Guusje
I think some of them bulls are a bit tiny to do any damage, haha. i love bullfighting, i am all for tradition!!
Love it!!!!! Looks so wonderful.
wow - more jaw-dropping photos by jane! i love the pink! absolutely gorgeous. thanks for the great post. hugs!
I am thankful for that...
The light in these photos is amazing, and the bull fighter's "cape"... amazing too ;)
I love the first picture - that pink is beautiful.
It's different not to see the traditional red...or is it traditional?
Happy week.
Yes, the 'capes' are quite firm, er nice.
wow, wonderful.
great week
Now I can´t stop looking at the cape! ;)
And the rest of the pictures are a feast for the eye too!
I like Ian's answer, but you pictures are great. We just got back from spending the weekend in St. Augustine so I'm torn between answering that title question with a "Catholic Mission" or "Conquistadors".
what a post! ole!
Wow, those colors!
You know how to have fun there, Jane:)
♡
nothing quite like a little bull...
and i love the capes, they're gorgeous!
I must confess that I haven´t go to any capeas or similar. When we were children, there were feast with bulls involved in nearly all the villages... Running in front of them, looking how my father and brother run...Now they are colourful pictures
Capeas !! colorful !
Those two women in their short sleeves, they are amazing, their eyes just shine! What a light there!c3rnosh3
Just had to say hi as I found your blog today. We just came back from Spain, but looking forward to going back soon. I love the Spanish traditions. Great photos!(another Jane in England)
i guess that now that i managed to go for nearly a year of 12-of-12ers i could sign up for cv as well as i offer regular cornerviews anyway! how does it work, does it take place on a certain day? or is the theme for any day of the particular week? muchos besos (i was brought up in chile but i hardly recall more than those words!!! ;-))) eliane from ireland
It's a pity that I'm not good enough in English to understand everything about your blog… I like it anyway.
Hi Jane, is there a Corner View theme for this week?
The colors in this post are fantastic! Lovely viewing on a cold day like today!
Happy Day, Jane!
mmmm was that a capea?
There's a lot of fun there, I think. When my uncle got married they hosted one for his stag party.
Mmm... I think the best part of the bullfighters is their bottom.I never undertood why some people said they're sportists, but when I realised those bottom I figured it out xD
lots of kisses from this HOT Valencia.
Nice photos. Lovely and colourful. We live in the south of France where the bullfighting culture is strong too (near Nîmes).
you know what?
i love the color "amarillo albero"
:P
The colors make me happy,
I adore that color pink -- how fantastic with the red and yellow!
