corner view "sweets"

These, my friends, are my favorite sweets. They are gummy candy in the form of the statue of the Pissing Boy (Mannekin Pis). They are sooo good.... a little sweet, a little sour, and a little chewy. I often wonder how this idea was thought up.... "Let´s see... we already have gummy fish... and gummy bears... I know! The Pissing Boy!..." Okaaaay... I would so love to meet the brilliance behind this idea. ;)

Next week´s theme comes via Francesca and it´s "Repurposed: one object in your house that you´ve found another use for." Thanks darling!

Theresa, do you mind picking the next one? Thanks!

Happy corner viewing!

P.S. Thank you for all your lovely comments. I´m going to be smiling until March.

That looks like a funny gum, is it originary from Spain or from the US? Because I've never seen them (perhaps because I don't like gummies).
Big love and besos for you and your children:)

ha. my sister bought a tub of those when she visited me last summer. i live in Luxembourg (about 2.5 hours away from the real mannekin pis) the ones she found here were in the grocery store and came in lots of different colors. funny to find those in spain.

Conny said...

Wouldn't my mother just love that?! She'd totally think they're funny - she's got that Dutch sense of humor. My son and I would be sitting in the corner, snickering about them.

Thanks for sharing them. Such a lovely "surprise" sweet. Love it.
