(Just yesterday...)
This week´s CV is "collections" and was suggested by the lovely Francesca. Personally, I don´t collect things. Probably, because I live in a home with only three closets. Daniel, on the other hand, is a regular pack rat. I never know what I´m going to find in his pockets. I remember when he was about 6 I found some stones in his pocket that had just gone through the wash. I told him, in my "angry" mommy voice, "Daniel I just washed stones that were in your pocket!" To which he responded, in his sweet innocent voice, "Thank you mommy." and skipped off.... (Yes, it still makes me laugh.)
And a big shout out to Joyce for keeping CV running smoothly in my absence! Thank you my friend!
Happy Corner View!

happy you are back
have a great day
I like the way you've artistically arranged that string of beads around the knots in the wood.
You're a sweet mum:) Welcome back, I really enjoy your trip!
Happy corner view to you too Jane !!! Welcome home ! .. your boy is a funny boy !
welcome back!
It's good to corner view with you again.
I do wash stones, papers, money, sand (!) and much more!
Have a nice day!
Love that golf ball "holder¿?". And love that thanks mom for cleaning stones...ajajaj
Wellcome home, my love.
And we have a coffee or something waiting.
What a cute story. Welcome home.
lol.
maybe i should take this as a cue to take a picture of 'the insides' my handbag - or maybe not... ;-)
Lovely, could have been my boy....
Missed you too! Loved to see you photo'sssssss!
Hilarious! I usually wash erasers and lolly wrappers I've never washed stones. Kids say the funniest things!!
Lol - nice story and welcome back.
Guess that the items on your photo are from your pocket and not from your son ;)
great! not a collector myself! bienvenida de regreso!
haha. What a great gift, to be able to turn somebody's anger into laughter!
Hi Jane, Welcome back!
I found that living in small spaces has cut down om my urges to collect things, too.
I love that story of Daniel - adorable! I was just hopping over to check out today's theme and now I'm off to the dentist, so who knows when I'll actually get to it? Anyway, I also realized I got rid of savannahgourmet@aol.com email and never told anyone! I think that's the one you use. So try kimbanks@me.com when emailing me. Sorry! Miss you!
Ha. I never know what I'll find in pockets either. Usually more boring stuff like gum wrappers and tissues.
Looks like you had a fascinating trip. Welcome home.
(sorry..something went wrong)
Welcome back!
hahaha the noice of stones in my washingmachine is almost a daily returning sound!
Happy CV!
:) Very cute!
I think I've done that several times.. tissues are the worst to wash!
and so stone-washed jeans were invented.
hola, bienvenida :)
welcome back and i love the golf tee for some reason!
that story is funny and so sweet! welcome back!!!
-ahaha, i rarely empty my pocket when putting my clothes in the wash and then find surprises when they're finished! ahaha, cute blog.
cx.
Welcome back Jane! Looks like you have 'collected' some great memories :)
(your day collection would probably take me only an hour, I'm terrible :)
(so sweet that he said that!)
yay!!! you're back!
love the stone story: so cute ;)
I like your collection. Well okay, whenever can I not like your "view" :)
Jane, I have missed CVs, my mused did not leak out. I'll work on the end my street now.
Welcome back Dear Jane!
I'm always checking children's clothes pockets before washing...
I don't collect things either. Your story made me laugh. Takes a child to really put things in perspective. And better rocks than frogs. I love when money comes out of the dryer so nice and clean!
Actually, I do collect something!!! Rocks! Everywhere we go (except from Pompeii - that would be illegal), I've picked up a rock. I try to remember to label them...
Welcome back!
I like your fun approach to not-collecting, good idea to present Daniels:)xo
What a sweet story! Have a happy weekend.
So glad you are home. xoxoxoxox
welcome back ... I am in love with your moroccan photos and I wish I could go there again soon ...
Pocket (purse)collections! I like the realness of your collection and think this would make a great CV someday! Welcome home, so glad you are back now!!!
ps. I find small stones in my husband's (Daniel) pockets - cute... :^)
this looks more like my pockets! and what is it about the boys that they totally disarm us when we use that "angry mommy" voice? even the grown up ones!
welcome home nomad!
Oh, that made me laugh out loud! "Thank you, mommy..."
I can't even count how many little boy items I've washed in pockets...but I don't think I've ever been thanked for it!
Yay for Joyce! She did an amazing job!
And so glad you got home safe and sound.
My boys too always have a lot of strange things in their pockets. The answer was very sweet ;-)
For you, a small collection of sands from Martinique ;-)
Nobody has a collection quite like yours! Welcome back.
Hooray for Joyce!
and Hooray for you, you're back from your amazing trip!
I love all of your photo's. Thank you for sharing, it was a little virtual trip!

Sunny Greetings, Daan -x-

I will be back cv'ing next week, I have really missed you all. Loved your pictures while you were gone Jane.
Oh, fun. I don't collect 'things' either...maybe just memories or impressions, but that is about it. ;)
oh lordy thats funny. love love it. and thanks for updating my site address.
nice one, I will do it in the morning
some people are wired to hoard collections of things! my daughter loves to stash things in boxes, and let me tell you, it is ALWAYS a surprise when i uncover their contents!
Welcome back. Your trip pics were stunning, as always.
As for "collections"-- My husband says I collect a lot of junk but it's really only odds and ends.
Cheers,
jj
What a great story!
I collect to the point of possibly needing psychological assessment!
xo
Andrea

I enjoy your blog, so much. I'm in love with Spain, and I just returned from Bilbao. I live in Greece, another beautiful country, but I have Spain in my heart. We saw Alejandro Sanz in concert, too! You are sooo lucky for living there.
A lovely idea... I wrote yesterday about this "collection" that I wrote a little text for my kids... In the pocket... I see...
Treasures !
Your son is a cutie :)
My sisters collect stickers like the ones in the picture, I think they come from Pipas G or something like that.
Big kisses for you and your whole great family I'm sure you'll be very happy about your amazing trip
Hello Jane, just a little kiss !
