On Saturday we left dreary cold Vitoria and headed for better weather. A half an hour later we were basking in blue skies in La Rioja (wine country). It´s amazing the difference 50 km can make... (It´s also amazing the things I have done thanks to cv. If I hadn´t had this theme dancing around in my head I would have probably spent the day on the sofa... And I thank you for that!)
Next week´s theme comes from Soisses and is "me". We did this theme exactly one year ago... It´ll will be fun to see how much we changed.
Happy Corner Viewing!
¡Dos besos muy gordos!

OMG I didn't realise you live near wine country. Lucky thing!
Wonderful wine country sensation, I'd like to beam me there at once!

you are such an inspiration by the look you have on what is surrendering you...
Posted also on my blog.
love the feel I get from your photos. Especially the one of the two people walking.
I agree that CV gets me out there, too, when I have a theme running around in my head. So fun. Thanks for hosting us!
Looks wonderful. Hope you enjoyed a glass or two of Rioja under that lovely blue sky.

xo
Gorgeous Jane...we are an ocean apart, but our landscapes are so similar...although Spain seems much more exotic than California!
xo
Thanks for your visit to the wine country of Spain. I live near California wine country and I never tire of it. Drinking it in, so to speak! ;)
Hee, hee. Saturday pictures from wine country are much finer than picture from the sofa. :>) Such a beautiful Saturday you had!
The Corner View has benefitted us all in ways we never expected.
Cheers ~
So beautiful! I did end up spending my Saturday on the sofa - my back went out. I'd have much rather been in wine country! ;)
what a great saturday you had!
your photos are so tasty! thanks for sharing them!
my goodness your scenery is beautiful. It makes life here in the burbs seems so bland. Ugh! Hopefully I will be back at "CV" next week.
i love this collection! so marvelous.

Very nice. I am loving that door :-)

oh Jane, I know I'm in Spain when I see your photos....fabulous details. i was invited there once, but didn't go because i knew i would never leave!
Lucky you to drive to such a different atmosphere.
Hum, let me guess Jane..... You spent the day in Haro. Did you perchance eat lamb at "El Terete"? Maybe enjoyed a visit to the new Torre Muga?
I have a visit pending myself.
Beautiful pictures, as always. The Rioja tourist bureau should pay you girl !!
What a lovely Sunday, cheers!

So beautiful! Wine country is beautiful country, particularly in the company of loved ones and a delicious bottle.
Oh I was there last year and just loved it! So jealous that you get to enjoy it any ole year you decide :)
You always take great pictures! Lovely! Thank you for sharing!! Have a great weekend!
Ha! you have been to my domains! (not really, I am from Rioja Baja but I do like Haro, I even have a picture of the Paternina Palace hanging in my living room!).
Love the San Fermín Photos, they are stunning, like all your photos! Besos, Reyes
Hi Jane, I love your corner view, the sky and the light are so clear. The pinks and reds and whites in the series above (bullfight, though feels very peaceful!) are gorgeous too. Sorry I didn't post last week corner view, ... have a great trip:))
OK, sooooooo how was the partying last night? Give us a full report! We were watching of course on TV here from germany. I stepped ouside in our garden for a few moments during the game and it was like neighborhood-TV-stereo.
I think in the end the germans seemed pleased with 3rd place.

ohhh... this week is my cv ;-) it`s a pity i didn`t do a post last week. i am sorry... have a nice day, yours dani
What great photos, you are talented. So when will your book be out? YOu must put your photos and stories of life in Spain and travelling together somehow.. I for one would love to buy it. I could look at your pictures daily, they are really wonderful.
I don't know if you are still accepting ideas for corner views, but I think it would be very interesting to do "doorbells". :)
Hope you are having a great week!
love those cobblestones :)
