coming to my senses

see: mountains, lakes, pines, raindrop stars
hear: horse bells, sheep gossiping, storks clacking
smell: cows, horses, sheep... (oh my...)
taste: homemade chicken broth and potato chips
feel: happy

Hope to be back in the swing of things soon. Thanks for spreading the kindness. You have no idea how far it really goes. ¡Dos besos muy gordos!

gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous (and a littlr breathtaking). What a set!

Love the sheep! They are so artsy - not at all like the plain dull white sheep we have around here. Could we judge a country by its sheep, I wonder?

Looks like just the right place to come to one's senses, enjoy! x

my vote too, is for the animals and their wooly coats. nothing like the company of a critter to put it all in perspective

Hi, Jane. The other day I met a man from Victoria and I said, "Oh, I love it there!" He asked me when I had visited. How do you explain that by reading your blog I feel like I'm walking through the city streets, drinking a coffee, or enjoying the countryside? So, of course, I just lied and said, "In 2002." :)

I enjoy reading your blog so much. My aunt, uncle and cousins live in Barcelona. They are my second family and I miss them when I'm not there. Your photos and words bring me a little closer to the Spain I love.
Thanks for the inspiration.
Besos,
Corey

Anyway, your photography is getting better by the day, so is your grasp for basque daily life.
Now I'm hopping to the comment section of that post where you are supposedly telling all the secrets of face cream...
